Delivery route optimization for a whole fleet
Pick your stops, vehicles and capacity. Fleetwork assigns stops to each vehicle, orders them and times every arrival.
What the optimizer handles
Many vehicles, each with its capacity
Stops are shared across the fleet without any vehicle carrying more than its declared capacity.
Time windows and stop times
Each stop can have its own delivery window and service time; each vehicle has working hours and breaks.
Which vehicle can carry what
Tag stops and vehicles with skills, so chilled goods only go on refrigerated trucks, and set priorities for key stops.
Pick up, then deliver
Pickup and delivery pairs always stay in order on the same vehicle, for two-way logistics.
Call the optimization API directly
Send your vehicles and stops, get each vehicle’s route back as JSON: stop order, arrival times, distance and duration.

What is a VRP?
The Vehicle Routing Problem: assigning stops to vehicles and ordering them to minimise total time and distance, within capacity and time windows.
Does it use real road travel times?
Yes. The API computes time and distance on the real road network for the vehicle type (car, truck, motorcycle) to decide the order.
How many stops can it take?
This demo is limited to 40 stops and 5 vehicles. Through the API you can solve larger problems; allow up to 5 minutes for big ones.
How do I plug it into my system?
Call POST /api/v1/optimize with your Fleetwork account’s API key. Contact Fleetwork for a key and integration help.
